A new study, published in the prestigious
Pediatrics journal, has found a link between attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the organophosphate pesticides commonly used on non-organic strawberries, blueberries, and celery. The researchers studied 1139 children between the ages of 8 and 15; nearly 10% of those children met the criteria for ADHD.
Pretty scary. And why blueberries, of all foods? :(
